DCC Educational is approved by the VA Board of Nursing to teach the 68 hour course. Upon completion of this course you will be able to work in an Assisted Living Facility, a Correctional Facility, or Group Home. This course does require you to take the VA Board of Nursing board exam.
DCC Educational is also approved by Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) to teach the 32 hour course which does not require you to take the state board exam.
DCC Educational is certified by the National Heart Association to teach this course. However, DCC is not limited to CPR alone and can develop and teach your staff on any topic that would be beneficial to your company.
Topic Examples: Anger Management, Stress Management, COPD, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Medication Management, Crisis Intervention, Physical Therapy, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Cardiovascular, Mental Illness, HIPPA, Behavior Analysis and more.
DCC Educational is certified to teach the 40 hour course to help you in becoming a Direct Care Staff. Upon completion of this course you will be able to work in Assisted Living Facilities. There is a final exam involved before certification is complete.
DCC Educational is certified to teach the 75 hour course which will aid you in obtaining a job in Pharmacies and Hospitals. There is a required National Certification Exam at the completion of the course. Working as a Pharmacy Technician will allow you to be able to answer questions about medications, process and file prescriptions, maintain inventory, and label medications.
